We developed the L1400 flail mower brush hog specifically to work with NESHER machines to provide versatile overgrowth mowing needs for our NESHER operators. The flail mower turns your multi-role NESHER L1400 electric loader into an electric mower simply by swapping the standard bucket or other attachment for the flail mower.
The flail mower comes standard with hammer blades, which are ideal for coarse, thick overgrowth. These blades can be swapped for Y blades or other flail mower blades better suited for turf or other mowing needs.
The flail mower is powered by the machine’s on-board auxiliary hydraulic circuit and works best when run in ‘high’ mode, this also reduces the run time of the machine. Depending on type of material being mowed, we recommend the flail mower be run for up to 60 to 90 minutes at a time to not overly drain the machine’s batteries.
NOTE: The flail mower is only available for the L1400 loader (not the smaller L880 loader).
